No Values In City/County LOV When Creating Legal Address In Legal Entity Manager.
How can we load values into these value sets (HR_US_GEOCODE_CITY and HR_US_GEOCODE_COUNTY).
Address Format and Validation Changes were introduced in 12.1.3 via Bug 9871990
With the release of 12.1.3, Oracle Legal Entity Configurator has adopted the use of the HR Address formatting and validation model.
Prior to 12.1.3, the formatting and validation for Legal Addresses were based upon the HZ_LOCATIONS validation from TCA but were stored in HR_LOCATIONS_ALL.
The reason you are not seeing any values in the LOV is because you are on Shared Install for HRMS application.
Location information is only available for customers implementing Oracle HRMS applications.
Before creating a Legal Address it is important to make sure that the format specified in the HR Location Address Descriptive Flexfield matches the format desired by your organization.
The steps below outline how this is performed and how changes can be made:
Update the following Descriptive Flexfield:
Application: Human Resources Title: Location Address
Remove the Valueset Validation and make it NOT Required field.
Following fields were updated
4. City -> HR_US_GEOCODE_CITY
5. State -> HR_US_GEOCODE_STATE
7. County -> HR_US_GEOCODE_COUNTY
After making these changes you will be able to create new Legal Entity for United States.
In case validation is needed and HRMS in shared mode, please check note 1104887.1 on how to use TCA for validation on LE ADDRESSES
